When might polar bears disappear?
It is so sad to think that humans are causing all of these
problems for other animals and creatures. Global Warming has been an issue ever since we started developing and industrializing. Sure these factories and electronics and cars and such make everything a lot easier in our lives, and I am not going to deny that. But we should find a way to use all of these things and make our lives easier without causing global warming. I mean we are taking away animals habitats to make our lives easier, but we are just making it harder for those animals to live and survive.
Not only that, but these greenhouse gases are destroying our ozone. I love that there are people, scientists, which are working on cleaner energy sources, because if we did not have anyone doing that, then in time, there would be no doubt that we will be killing not only other animal’s habitats, but our own.
This clearly relates to science because of global warming, but it is also social studies related because of global warming melting the colder areas, it could disappear and we would lose a continent.

It is sad to know that day by day, humans are not only changing the environment in a positive way, but a negative way as well. Innovations and industrialization do make a positive impact on the world, but they are hurting other species in the process; however, the environment has become more of an importance to citizens, and I hope that inventors, architects, politicians and other citizens find a way to make substantial ideas correlated with the well-being of the environment. The thought of polar bears disappearing is simply baffling, considering they live in the Artic region, and due to the harsh climates, it hasn't really been affected by the human race.
ReplyDeleteThis is a very hard topic. Like you said, we are making what we need, but in turn we are taking away what we need. This confuses a lot of people, how an you have these factories but not pollute the world? I think because since many people do not understand they just push it off their mind and just not think about it. I'm glad there are people that are trying to figure out how to live our daily lives without taking away from something else, even taking away from each other. Just being honest, I think I am somewhat in the "let's just not think about it and it'll go away" category. It's not like I mean to though, it's just I'm always thinking (whenever I d think about it) "what can I do? I mean it's not like ___ is really going to make a difference". Again, I'm glad that someone is doing something to do about it; people like you, even spreading awareness makes a dfference. Seven :)
